Work with Jackie
As a registered dietitian, nothing breaks my heart more than when clients have incorrect assumptions about what their health diagnosis means for their food and eating:
“I can never eat carbs again.”
“I’m going to get diabetes soon and there is nothing I can do about it.”
“All my favorite foods are off-limits now.”
Friend, these statements couldn’t be further from the truth.
I love working with people with a variety of goals and diagnoses, including those who have prediabetes, are interested in achieving weight management or want to move towards a plant-based diet.
What excites me so much about working with clients with prediabetes is that there is so much that we can do to improve your health markers and enhance how you feel…all while enjoying your favorite foods (pinky promise!).
You deserve a prediabetes dietitian who is creative, compassionate, and dedicated to helping you to achieve your health goals. In our partnership, not only will you have my complete and undivided attention as we create your action-oriented game plan, you’ll have the accountability and support to keep making progress. And did I mention the delicious recipes based on your favorite foods and cuisine? All foods can fit – even potatoes — I promise.
Right away, my clients tell me that they have less anxiety around food choices, love learning about new recipes and products, and lose some weight. And long term? The wins are huge: reversing prediabetes and feeling more energized and confident!
I like to say that learning any new skill – healthy eating – is effortful in the beginning but eventually, you’ll be on autopilot. It just takes practice!
Who do I help? Men and women with:
- Prediabetes
- Blood sugar management
- Weight management
- Autoimmune conditions
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
- Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO)
- Plant-based eating, vegetarian and vegan diets
- Acne (yes – diet has a huge impact on your skin!)
- Heart disease
- Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
- And more!
Please reach out if you have another condition or concern that you’d like nutritional guidance with.
Service packages:
My clients and I work together for a minimum of three sessions, but most often, six sessions or more. Visits usually occur every 2-3 weeks but may be spaced out further as you make progress.
This gives you the opportunity to develop new skills and habits that will actually stick – no yo-yo dieting here!
Nutrition habits are not a “one and done” plan. We will work together to uncover what barriers have been holding you back so far and create new plans that will help you to accomplish your goals; including reversing your prediabetes!
Based on your goals, your availability, and your budget, we will have the opportunity to select the service package that suits you best.
Service packages start at $650.
